Do.ability invites educators, decision makers, and community leaders to join a shared mission: empowering individuals from all walks of life through practical language learning, aligned with the CEFR standards. When individuals discover their voices in additional languages, they can speak, ask, understand, and act — enabling them to access public services, exercise their rights, fully participate in higher education and the workforce, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. The CAN DO Approach
The Can Do approach, as advocated by the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR, 2001; 2020), reconceptualizes language learning as real, respectful, and rooted in life. This approach is action-oriented, plurilingual, and intercultural (API), fostering individual and social agency. In fact, interpersonal communication requires language competence intertwined with strategic competence, digital and social skills, and a growth mindset.
